We have said our final farewells to our butterflies and set them free. Unfortunately we missed all five hatching from their cocoons, (I had no idea it happens so quick), but was delighted we got to see them eat. What a wonderful experience this has been. The boys are actually quite sad they are all gone now.
We still have one tadpole left, who is coming along great, with legs now. I think its about time we bought some new wild pets home, maybe that can be mission for the weekend.

What a wonderful science experience for your boys: it never occurred to me to try it, I always assumed it would be too difficult to recreate their natural habitat! Hope your new wild pets will be about the same size as these!
