Cornerview: the beach - South West England

Unfortunately I don't have a beach where I live, so I am going to cheat a little bit this week and show you the beach we will be heading to later in the Summer for a short break. This is West Bay in Dorset, along the Jurassic coastline, sometimes known as the Dinosaur Coast for the presence of fossils. The famous sandstone cliff at West Bay exposes 180 million years of history.

It has been sooooo long since I have been able to breath in sea air, and I am so desperate for my boys to spend time playing, exploring, discovering and relaxing on a beach. Alex was a tiny tot the last time we had a holiday and this will be the first for Adrien, so we are all very excited. It's hard not to be wishing away the weeks, but I am mindful to stay in the present.

To explore further, try visiting some other beaches:

jane, ladybug-zen, ian, bonnie, esti, sophie, cele, modsquad, caitlin, joyce, ani, couturecoucou, kim, a day that is dessert, natsumi, epe, kaylovesvintage, trinsch, c.t.,jeannette, outi, schanett, ritva, dongdong, francesca, state of bliss, jennifer, dana, denise, cabrizette, bohemia girl, ruth, dianna, isabelle, amber, a girl in the yellow shoes, mister e,janis, kari, jgy, jenna, skymring, elizabeth, audrey, allison, lise, cate, mon, victoria, crescent moon, erin, otli, amy, ida, caroline, lisa, dorte, kimmie, la lune dans le ciel, nicola, malo, vanessa, britta, virgina, april, rebecca, b, kyndale

I can believe it that there are lots of fossils in those cliffs. It looks like the rolling hills just dropped into the sea. So pretty. I would love to visit there.

I hope you and your family have a great holiday in such a beautiful place! Dorset is one of those places I've never been to, even though I live in England!

We don't live close to the sea either so we really love getting chances to breath in the sea air whenever we can

wow, this is a spectacular place! i don't know why, but i've never thought of britain as having beaches - which is quite stupid, i guess, being all islands... ok, i'm officially embarrassed right now!
